NANUET, N.Y. -- Yvonne Ciarletta, of Nanuet, died Friday, Nov. 25. She was 84.
She was born March 30, 1932, in New York City, the daughter of the late Carlo and the late Ines Castagnidoli Roncoli.
She moved to Pearl River, where she lived for almost 50 years and was employed by Marine Midland Bank as a teller. Recently, she was a resident of Seaton Village in Nanuet, where she spent many happy times playing cards and participating in every social activity available.
Her warm and outgoing personality left her surrounded by friends no matter where she lived. She especially loved preparing a meal to be enjoyed by her family, whether it be a simple Sunday dinner or an extravagant holiday feast.
She married the love of her life, Albert, in 1958. They shared 55 years of happiness together until his death in 2013.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Diane (Ken) Kardashian; two sons, Tom (Mary Pat) Ciarletta and Jamie (Krista) Ciarletta; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Aedan's Church, 23 Reld Drive, Pearl River. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet. Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc., 728 W. Nyack Road, West Nyack.
